Mission Challenges Village Baptist Church Stephanie Hale, Childrens Minister In July we took firefighters thank you notes and prayed over them In September, we cleaned Duffner Park In October, we washed cars for the elderly in our church In November, we participated in Operation Christmas Child In January, we wrote letters to soldiers In February, we wrote letters to our staff telling them how much we appreciate them In December We sang at a nursing home First Baptist Church, Weatherford Rhonda Ray GA Leader In April, we cleaned tables and took out trash after church dinner Other projects we participated in were collecting toothbrushes and paste for the Womens Shelter We collected grocery sacks for our local food pantry We raked leaves for 2 widow ladies and visited with them We interviewed the pastor & the girls created bookmarks to remind them to pray for him We made valentines for one of the nursing homes in the area
