• COSTUMES:A costume can reflect a character’s status.For example, the colour black or red may

represent a villain, or tattered clothes may mean they are poor.

atmosphere. A light blue filter, for example, can indicate innocence and calmness.

major impact on the meaning of the scenes. A dark setting can forebode a bad event.
