An HRIS software will be developed to gather data pertaining to the employees. The software shall assist the HR members to ensure that every employee within the organization is placed on the bench for a certain period in the year. Thus, this will help create a bench culture within the organization. The HRIS shall contain information about the following Integrated Employee Database and Payroll – The employee database shall contain most of the information contained in an employee file such as general information, educational qualification, previous experience, experience within the company etc. Also a payroll system will be integrated which shall help identify the current payroll of the employees. The payroll system shall help understand the variable and fixed component of employees. Skill Set information – Also the HRIS shall contain the current skill sets and technical proficiency of the employees. These shall be updated on a regular basis to have a clear idea about the various technical proficiencies possessed by the employees. Projects – The HRIS shall also provide information about the various projects worked on by the employees. This shall help understand that a particular employee has worked on which projects, to gain an idea about the period during which he is occupied and the period during which he is vacant. Time Collection – This will be in the form of a simple online excel sheet which the employee has to fill specifying the time required to complete a particular project. This shall help to understand exactly for how long was a particular employee under employment. Attendance – This is another important aspect of the HRIS, as it will provide exact information about the period during which the employee was absent or on a leave. The above information shall be collected through various processes such as questionnaire, interviews and online sheets.
