• The setting gives an impression of a rich family, as there is a big house & multiple cars

• In this opening of this film multiple props are used such as the cars the mail box and the light outside the house.

Costume & make up

The costume & make up gives the impression that the characters look like they are not very well off. With a rag covering the boys body.

Figure expression & movement

The characters arriving at the house are slouched over listening to the owner of the house showing she's more important. With scared worried facial expressions om there faces.

You hear the door opening and the woman turns around to look at who's coming in.

This is a shot of an extreme close up of the character's face giving more enthuses on what she’s saying.

This is a shot of a close up so you can see the necklace has impotence, playing a big role within the film.

This is a shot of a medium shot of the characters face so you can see that what the character is saying more clearly & what she is saying has importance.

This is a shot of a long shot, its a long shot as it shows the characters whole body with little space the spear at the top and bottom of the shot.

• This is a shot of a extreme long shot as it show the whole house, the cars and all the scenery.

Pan

This is a shot of a pan as the camera doesn't physically move but just moves the camera lens to follow the car.

Tilt

This is shot is showing the camera tilting downwards, it is tilting to show the whole of the house(location).

Zoom

This is a shot of a zoom the camera starts close up to the car radio to give it some importance as she just turned in on. the camera slowly then comes one to give you a view of the whole radio.

Cut

• Cuts are used in the film opening sequence to showdifferent scenes within the movie. This is done for speed, it cuts out the time it would take to for example zoom all the way out. In Drag me to hell a cut is used when the characters drive half way into the drive way, it then cuts to them exiting the car.
