Minutes of the Meeting of Procurement Committee for Evaluating the Bids

for Purchase of Generators, Air Conditioners, Stabilizers and Printers

The captioned meeting was held on 06-03-2020 at 1030 hours in the conference

room of IMU E&SE under the chairmanship of Project Director, IMU. The meeting started with

recitation from the Holy Quran. List of the participants is at Annex-I.

2. Earlier, a meeting of Procurement Committee was held on 06.02.2020 at 1400 hours

for opening of tenders, wherein the financial proposals submitted by the competitive bidders

were opened in the presence of all interested vendors/firms. The quotations and other tender

documents were thoroughly scrutinized by the Procurement Committee and comparative

statements (Annex-II, III, IV and V) were made for finalization of successful bidders.

3. After detailed evaluation, the committee unanimously agreed to award the contracts

to the following firms/vendors, who emerged the best evaluated bidders by meeting the

published specifications and other pre-requisites as required under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public

Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules (Annex-VI).

The Tenderer must:

1. Be registered with FBR and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority.

2. Not blacklisted (Affidavit Attached).

3. Enclose Earnest Money (EM) amounting to 2% (refundable) of the total quoted amount in the

form of CDR / Bank draft from any scheduled Commercial Bank in the name of Project

Director, IMU E&SE Department.

4. Submit its Tender in sealed envelope at, Independent Monitoring Unit, House # 7A, Shami

Road, Peshawar till 12:00 Noon on 06-02-2020.

5. The procurement shall be made under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Procurement of Goods, Works

and Services Rules, 2014. The Tenders shall be received till 1200 hours on 06-02-2020 and

opened on the same day at 1400 hours at the office of undersigned at House # 7A, Shami

Road, Peshawar by the Purchase Committee in the presence of interested parties who may

like to attend. Incomplete Tenders, defective Tenders, Tenders received after due time and

date shall be summarily rejected. Purchase Committee / Procuring Entity reserves

unconditional right to cancel the process at any stage and reject any or all the Tenders after

assigning reason thereof and without being liable for any claim / compensation of any nature

whatsoever. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Competent Authority shall be final and

shall not be challenged.
