DELAWARE COUNTY INTERMEDIATE UNIT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

June 5, 2019

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors meeting was called to order at 7:28 p.m. by President Edward Cardow. The meeting took place at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) located at 200 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA 19070 on June 5, 2019. Prior to this meeting, an Executive Session and an Information Session were held. Following a salute to the flag and a moment of silence, the Secretary called the roll.

Board Reorganization and Appointment of PSBA Voting Delegate

Mrs. Harvey served as Temporary Chairwoman. Voting: Mr. Cardow, Mr. DeSantis, Mrs. Fitti, Mr. Harris, Mrs. Harvey, Mr. Johnson, Mr.

The retainer is intended to be compensation for the Solicitor’s attendance at meetings and bid openings. Raffaele Puppio’s fee for legal services outside of the retainer is $150.00 per hour and for paralegal services is $95.00 per hour. Dr. Edelberg reported that the Intermediate Unit General Operating Budget for 2019-2020 has been approved by 15 school districts. The weighted vote on this budget is 477 ayes and 0 nays. Dr. Edelberg reported that twelve (12) school districts have approved the election of the following individuals to serve as members on the Delaware County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors for the term July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022:
