2Minsk IFF LISTAPAD 2018

The First edition of Minsk IFF Listapad was held in 1994. Until 2002, the Festival was known as International Film Festival of CIS and Baltic Countries.Since 1996, the Main prize Golden Listapad have been awarded according to audience’s choice. Since 2010, a professional jury has been making decisions on the awards.

Minsk IFF Listapad brings the best films from all over the world to Belarus. The Festival is held annually in November and includes four sections: feature films, documentary films, films for children and young audience, national competition. The Awards are decided upon by the International Juries. Minsk IFF Listapad has been accredited by FIAPF since 2011 as the festival of an original format. The main competitions are focused on new films, created in the ex-communist countries: Central and Eastern Europe, CIS countries, Baltics, Georgia, China, Vietnam, Cuba. Moreover, special screenings, retrospectives, master classes, and other related events are presented annually within the framework of the Festival. Industry days, held during Minsk IFF Listapad, is a meeting place for movie professionals.

The Bel:Cinema Industry is open since 2015 in frame of Minsk IFF Listapad with the aim of creating the playground for communication among film professionals and a bigger goal to include local scriptwriters, directors and producers in the European and international context of film production with an emphasis on co-products.
