Tedd Gullickson, a graduate of Concordia College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, possesses 25 years of experience teaching and directing music. As a Minnesotan, Tedd Gullickson appreciates the mission and vision of the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA).

The MMEA aims to enhance the quality of music teaching and learning for students in all settings. It strives to exist as an organization that is both relevant and inclusive. Committed to promoting music appreciation, the MMEA works diligently to communicate music’s value and importance, and to help provide informed leadership for Minnesota’s music education.

To put its ideals into practice, the organization offers a wide array of programs for music students throughout the state. The MMEA’s largest program, All-State, involves more than 2,000 students each year and consists of live auditions, three summer camps, seven performing groups, and a performance at the Midwinter Clinic. In addition to All-State, the MMEA offers composition contests, awards, elementary and middle-level festivals.
