_ministry_encounter #7_hearing from the holy spirit
DESCRIPTION
In the final message of the ENCOUNTER series, I teach a VERY practical foundation for hearing from the Holy Spirit. God has spoken to us through his word and he speaks to us by His Spirit. We explore the three main ways God speaks to us. Firstly in WORDS (Say It) Then in PICTURES (See It) and lastly in IMPRESSIONS (Sense It) It’s not an exhaustive list but it is a helpful one. The second part of the teaching introduces a model of how the Holy Spirit operates. There are things he will ALWAYS do (Point to Jesus and promote maturity) and there are some things he will NEVER do (Contradict Scripture or Violate Community) Above all, remember that listening with the intent to obey leads to living with the openness to hear. Enjoy your growing relationship with the Holy Spirit. #leadershift RohTRANSCRIPT

John 16:13-14 NLT
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. 14 He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.
Matthew 10:19-20 NLT
19 When you are arrested, don’t worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time. 20 For it is not you who will be speaking - it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
