What a whirlwind of a Summer it has been! Already students are getting ready to head back to school. Pretty soon it will be back to the typical school year and the hectic schedules. It seems like Summer just started; and now its almost over. As our kids are heading back to school, it is our prayer that they can be a shining light in their schools and amongst their friends. Our prayer is that they will bring glory to God in the way that they live for Him. Our Summer Youth Program has wrapped up now; and what a wonderful Summer it has been! I want to say Thank you!to everyone who helped in making this program a success! I wont try to list every individual who took part in all of the planning, organizing, and implementing; but I know that there were many people working on this program. To the teachers, game organizers, decorators, snack ladies, chaperones, elders, supporters, and everyone else - Thank you!for making this Summer a success! Each Wednesday night in June and July we had around 30 kids come and take part in this special program. Each night they learned about a different parable that Jesus told. I think our study of parables has been valuable to all of us. Beyond learning about the parables, the kids were also shown that they were important and loved by everyone in our congregation. Thank you for your part in that! Love you all, Stephen Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.- Jesus (Mark 10:14) Summer Youth Program

Wow! What a whirlwind of a Summer it has been! Already students are getting ready to head back to school. Pretty soon it will be back to the typical school year and the hectic schedules. It seems like Summer just started; and now it’s almost over. As our kids are heading back to school, it is our prayer that they can be a shining light in their schools and amongst their friends. Our prayer is that they will bring glory to God in the way that they live for Him. Our Summer Youth Program has wrapped up now; and what a wonderful Summer it has been! I want to say “Thank you!” to everyone who helped in making this program a success! I won’t try to list every individual who took part in all of the planning, organizing, and implementing; but I know that there were many people working on this program. To the teachers, game organizers, decorators, snack ladies, chaperones, elders, supporters, and everyone else - “Thank you!” for making this Summer a success! Each Wednesday night in June and July we had around 30 kids come and take part in this special program. Each night they learned about a different parable that Jesus told.
