    centurypapersfromthroughouttheOtagoregion.Mostcontainextensivenewsrelatingto

    mining,and theOtagoWitnesshad regular columnsofminingnews from throughout the

    Music Charles Thatcher, goldfields balladeer, touredNew Zealand during the 1860s.We have

    Brownfamilypapers:BrothersMosesandJohnBrownbegangoldminingatKyeburninthe1880sandtheclaimwasworkedbythemandtheirdescendantsuntilthe1950s.Thesepapersincludereceiptsandaccountbooksfortheirminingbusinessandasequenceofdiaries,commencingin1936,whichrecordworkactivitiesontheclaim.[ARC0571]
