Education$1.6 million investment in 11 new schools & 2 refurbished schools serving +4,000 students, teacher salaries, desks, books and supplies
Healthcare$447,000 investment in health clinics, doctor & healthcare salaries & supplies
Infrastructure$1.27 million investment in hundreds of kilometres of new roads, refurbished roads, rebuilt bridges and potable water programs
Employment1,000 Congolese in Banro’s technical, professional, management or supervisory jobs; another 3,000employed through Banro’s contractors; local purchasing and knock-on of these jobs creates another 20,000 jobs for local residents
