Minicarts provide a visual display so shoppers know what and how many products they have in their cart and/or the total dollar amount of the items. This allows them to keep track of their order without

going to the shopping cart page. Providing shoppers with the information and functionality suggested in these action points creates a more seamless shopping experience, preventing interruptions and

excessive clicking that often lead to cart abandonment.
