MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A BUSINESS.

LUKE 16: 1-21 Jesus told his disciples: “There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions. 2 So he called him in and asked him, ‘What is this I hear about you? Give an account of your management, because you cannot be manager any longer.’

Manager - oikonomos - overseer,

one who has charge of the affairs or household, an office of trust and

confidence.

GENESIS 2: 1515 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.

DEUTERONOMY 10:1414 To the LORD your God belong the

heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

PSALMS 50:10-1110 for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know every bird in the mountains, and the insects in the fields are mine.

LUKE 12:42-4442 The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? 43 It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. 44 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

TWO MANAGEMENT

OPTIONS

(1)YOU CAN BE WASTEFUL

LUKE 16: 1-21 Jesus told his disciples: “There was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions.

Waste - diaskorpizo - disperse, scatter, mismanage, squander.

LUKE 15: 1313 "Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered  his  wealth in wild living.

HOW ARE WE WASTEFUL?

(a)WE DON’T PLAN FOR THE FUTURE

Waste - diaskorpizo - disperse, scatter, mismanage, squander.

(b)WE ARE UNABLE TO TRACK OUR

SPENDING

PROVERBS 17:1616 Why should fools have money in hand to buy wisdom, when they are not able to understand it?

JOHN 6:1212 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”

Pag sulit, kahit mahal, hindi yun pag-aaksaya,

hindi yun sayang.

(c)WE SPEND FOOLISHLY

LUKE 16: 88 The  master  commended  the  dishonest manager  because  he  had  acted  shrewdly. For  the  people  of  this  world  are  more shrewd in dealing with their own kind than are the people of the light.

PROVERBS 21:2020 The wise store up choice food and olive oil, but fools gulp theirs down.

PROVERBS 11:1515 Whoever puts up security for a stranger will surely suffer, but whoever refuses to shake hands in pledge is safe.

PROVERBS 24:3-43 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established;4 through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

LUKE 12:47-4847 “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48 But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

(2)YOU CAN BEFAITHFUL.

LUKE 16: 10-1110 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. 11 So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?

BUSINESS PLAN

(1)DEFINE YOUR

MISSION

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

Every money problem is an issue of the heart.

PROVERBS 21:55 The plans of the diligent lead to profitas surely as haste leads to poverty.

(2)SHORT TERM

GOALS

Budget well.

(3)LONG TERM

GOALS

LUKE 14: 28-3028 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’

(4)LOWER

OVERHEAD

Deserve before you desire.

Kung hindi nagbibigay, huwag maging mapaghanap.

(5)PLAN FOR DOWN

TIMES

PROVERBS 22:33 The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

(6)PROFIT SHARING

You are blessed, to be a blessing.

Be sure you are ready anytime for any miracle that God will give you.

You are destined to live in the overflow.

LUKE 6: 1313 "No  servant  can  serve  two  masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot  serve both God and Money."

Hindi dapat iniyakan ang pera. Dapat

magtiwala sa Diyos. Tiwala lang.
