CIRCUSTHE
millions of colors
"I don't know if I picked that circus. But something told me that circus
picked me."-- Jacob in Water for Elephants
GrandstandOn a soapbox near Ozone Park, a petite girl with a top hat and cane calls to passerbys, "Come one, come all, to the
stylish circus of this Fall!"
Hailey, Lucy, and Reyna follow their host into a towering tent, featuring a bright, glittering stage of silky blends, sparkling metallic stripes, and slinking leopard prints.
Seating her guests, the girl in the top hat announces, "To the left, you'll see a high-wire girl, light as air, soaring in
ribbons and chiffon atop the circus tent." Cane pointing to the right, a spotlight shines on a furry pack of roaring lions,
acrobatic tigers, and dancing bears.
A fascinating array of pink parades, beige banners, and gray grandstands, Millions of Colors puts on a show like none other this Fall, offering the spectacle for your eyes and a
feast for your imagination.
Up and down, left and right, she somersaults through the air with flowing bows and ripples of ruffles trailing behind. Shimmering in flower-
printed silk and sparkling in metallic stripes, high wire Hailey glides under a spotlight in watery
waves of chiffon. Hanging from the trapeze by her double knit pants, she twists and turns in soft woven fabric. Delicate as a feather, yet dazzling and durable for the winter weather, Hailey's outfit
puts on mesmerizing high-wire show.
"She'd fly through the air with the greatest of ease,
Her movements were graceful, all kids she could please."
-- Adaptation on 19th Century Popular Song
High-Wire Hailey
"As long as we can walk, we play." -- August in Water for Elephants
Lions and Tigers and Bears! "Rooooar!" goes the lion!
"Arrrrrggh!" goes the tiger!"Groooowl" goes the bear!
A troop of furry beasts perform a ballet of pirouettes, pliés, and side leaps. A wild yet graceful dance, their
fuzzy paws rise into air and their velvety feet slide along the sawdust floor.
Meanwhile, Laura mimics the artful moves of this grizzly troop, as she tromps around the bleachers
in her open front fur jacket. Clawing the air like a lioness, her pleated double knit skirt with leopard
ruffles bring out the animal in her.

Ringmaster Reyna
Ringmaster Reyna knows how to put on a show, presenting
an eclectic evening of clowns, magicians, sword throwers, monkeys and gymnasts. Standing before an audience in her ruffle mock neck sweater cape, she plays host to a cavern of accents, including bows, pocket details, trims, and appliqués.
With a knack for mixing and matching, Reyna combines a pleated double knit skirt with leopard print, and metallic
stripes with double knit fabric. As beasts and ballerinas alike take the stage, our ringmaster conducts a show that provides
both warmth and comfort, delicacy and durability.
In her booming voice, she announces to the audience, "Little girls I have just what you are looking for this Fall/
Winter season . . . I present to you Millions of Colors!!!"
