Millie Ruth Harper, 80, of Port Neches, died Thursday, June 27, 2019. She was born September 29, 1938, in Minder, Louisiana, to Edith Louise Wilson Little and Millard Erwin Little.

She enjoyed the outdoors, especially to go hunting and camping. Millie was also an excellent cake decorator. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-love, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Most of all, she was a beautiful

example of a Christian woman. She loved her Lord.

Survivors include her husband, Emmett Eugene Harper, of Port Neches; son, Ricky Dale Harper and his wife, Josie, of Nederland; grandchildren, Brandon Harper and his wife, Lisa D.; Shawn Harper ; Shayna Harper and her fiancé, Pete Roche; Makaley Halliburton and her husband, Dillan; Halasi Harper and her fiancé, Colton Matt; Joshua Sanders and his wife, Felicia; John Paul Sanders and his wife, Brittney; and Johnika Seals and her husband, Louis; great-grandchildren, Logan; Cason; Gavin; Cohen; Jayden; Jillian; Jordan; Zachary; Alex; Hayden; Grayson; Valerie; and James; sisters, Melouise Hutchinson and Jeannine Little Zacek and her husband, Louis; daughter-in-law, Lisa M. Harper and her fiancé, Gary King; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Millard Little; and sons, Michael Eugene Harper and Mark Wayne Harper.
