The Riverside Church Millennial Scholarship Program offers youth involved in the ministryprogramsofthechurchscholarshipstoaccreditedcolleges,universitiesandvocationalprograms.Annuallythecongregationgivesseveralscholarshipstoeligibleyouth.Thesescholarshipscanbedispersedoutover thecourseofoneor fouracademicyears. Since its inception theMillennialScholarship program has dispersed more than $400,000 to youth involved in our ministryprograms.

ThisawardisatestamenttoDr.CarlA.FieldsSr.,whowasknownforhisuntiringdedicationtoyouth,education,buildingbridgesbetweencommunitiesandaconsiderablecommitmenttothelayleadershipoftheRiversideChurch.Dr.FieldswasoneofthefirstAfrican-AmericanDeansofPrincetonUniversityandwasoneofthefoundingmembersoftheRitesofPassageProgramatTheRiversideChurch.
