where he majored in Information Design.

design and Sai . He practices photography, tradi-

tarpaul ine, and one ID worn on the Youth Camp itself .

Promotional Material for Blue Roast 2012

These are the promotional materials used for the Ateneo Seniors’ going away party in

March 2012. As wel l as the concept and design of some of these promotional material ,

each l itt le piece was individual ly drawn by three i l lustrators. I was one of the three

i l lustrators who made these vector i l lustrations. This whole project was a col laboration

with: Mayu Ferrer, C laudine Delfin, Natasha Ringor, Lester Cruz and Deane Miguel .

Komikwento: An Interactive Digital C omic

My thesis in my final year in the Ateneo Fine Arts. An interactive digital comic which aims to aid col lege

in studying history. This particular comic discusses the events of World War I I in three different per-

spectives. The process of bui lding this project entai led creating a brand identity for the project, as wel l

as going through the process of creating an entire comic book including character design, panel l ing and

i l lustration, as wel l as an interface design for the website.

The project was part of the Information Deisgn Seniors’ Exhibit .

Press Kit D esign for Fictional C haracter

A project for Advanced Graphic Design C lass. The task

was to create a press kit for a fict ional character’s event,

product or whatever. I chose to make one for Spider-

man which included 5 posters, a brochure, newsletter and

infosheet, business cards and giveaways.

Jay and Aron: Trouble with Sick Dogs

A freelance project for an Ateneo Med Student. A comic book which aims to teach chi ldren

about the importance of responsible pet ownership. I was given a story which i made a

script for, created character designs, drafted a panel l ing layout and made al l of the

i l lustrations for the final product.

I always find enjoyment and a thri l l of inspiration when I ’m tasked to design or draw

something basketbal l related. Here I was able to design a basketbal l uniform for

Youth for Christ . As much as possible i tr ied to stay conservative when it came to

the elements of the uniform. And show off characterist ics of the organization as

wel l as place a l itt le advertisement for the upcoming Youth Camp.

These are some of the poster designs I ’ve made for org events in the Ateneo. Usu-

al ly for talks, Sporting events, Book Sales or whatever. Most of the t ime i l ike to use

Adobe I l lustrator for making posters as I l ike the freedom it gives with playing with

visual elements in one f lat space.

Cuba Gooding Junioras The Genius Pirate

Literal ly just a Brainstormer activ ity, for extra

points in class. The idea was to make somth-

ing out of the words: Cuba, Genius, Pirate. This

is what I came up with. I ’m quite proud of this

because it shows a lot about me, for one thing

my sense of humor, and the other is my ski l l in

i l lustration. This was done in vector but i was re-

al ly able to put some depth into what is assumed

to be a very f lat medium.

This got over 500 notes on tumblr in a few hours.

I think that’s definitely something worth pointing

out as its with this work that I real ly felt that my

design was afftecting the consciousness of others

and also stirr ing emotions. and of course the at-

tention is definitely appreciated. This is of course

jus a play on typorgaphy and vector i l lustration.

poses it was important for me to depict
