Hokkaido, Japan 2012-2013 I was an exchange student in Sapporo, a silent, close-to-nature city covered by snow in winter and embraced with sun in summer. During the exchange year, I worked as a part-time traveller for local tourism organizations to promote the amazing tourist spots. I travelled from northern Japan to the North-east, and the mainland toconduct travel photography works.

Cambodia 2014 Volunteering in Cambodia was a challenge. I went with an architecture team formed by architects and students. I wish to improve the life of Cambodian children by establishing village schools so I joined the construction part.

There is something more impressive than the Angkor Wat: the facial expressions of local Cambodians: children’s sparkling eyes I saw hope and friendliness in their eyes.

Tokyo, Japan 2015 Tokyo is a city crowded with dreamersand limited oppprtunities. I was one of the dreamers taking art university’s entranceexam. I dreamed at architecture, but I finallybecome a freelance photographer.

Kyoto, Japan 2015 I worked as a guest house helper in Kyoto. Kyoto was a slow, traditional and cultural captial of Japan. Here I experienced the spirit of “Zen”: a special respect to nature and a connectionbetween human and natural spirit. I beganmy trace back to my “self”. The Kyoto tripinfluenced my later photography art work which is themed as “MYSELF”.

Taiwan 2015 The connection with darkroom studiosin Taiwan finnally turned into a trip. Film photography, instead of digital, became my belief. If Kyoto is a place for developing my thoughts, Taiwan is for upgrading my darkroom technique.

Tianjin, China 2015-2016 I have stayed in Tianjin for 8 months. I was invited to join a food and beverage team to assist its business of Hongkongstyle restaurant. It is interesting to meet different people whom carry their storiesto restaurants to share with friends. My “Forgotten Who I Am” series were taken in Tianjin, a city that mixs and matches Chinese thoughts and Foreign living styles.I found this city quite ironic and citizens quite confused with what they are taught and what they think. Fine art photograpgy helps me describe this situation. Besides, getting connected with photography teams, individual photographers and darkroom owners, I often take jobs like products photography, events and portrait.

Hong Kong I would describe Hong Kong as a place of disappearance. Changes on the street occur too fast to save edvidence for its existance. I record streets, nature and ruins in Hong Kong, hoping the speed of taking record is faster than the speed of dissappearance.
