Military District and metro area.

Supervised five technicians in the relocation, and re-installation of 15 office cubicles including electrical wiring and office layout, completing the project three days early, saving the Navy 144 man-hours and approximately $2,160 in labor cost.

Installed 15 lights, four light switches, eight power receptacles, two exhaust fans, and 600 feet of conduit and wiring in support of a renovation project for Naval Facilities Engineering Command building on the Washington Navy Yard.

Supervised and conducted troubleshooting efforts on the U.S. Post Office freight elevator on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, effecting repairs, replacing the stop/start switches, saving the military over $729 in contracted labor repair costs.

  

NAVAL MOBILE CONSTRUCTION BATTALION 11, Gulfport, MississippiShop Foreman/Safety Supervisor, 2008-2011 Responsible for supervising 12 apprentice and journeyman electricians, steel workers, construction carpenters, and plumbers. Planned scheduled maintenance and construction projects while on deployment to Santa Rita, Guam and Project Safety Supervisor on deployment to Andros Island, Bahamas. 

Supervised 1,900 man-days of work, completing over 300 work orders and 28 camp maintenance projects valued at $150,000 for 54 facilities, resulting in a significant improvement in the quality of life for 180 personnel assigned Guam.

Implemented a cross-training program on Construction Electrician Motor Training qualifications for 12 shop members, strengthening electrical knowledge, increasing shop flexibility, and significantly improving mission effectiveness.

Construction site Safety Supervisor, meticulously ensuring identification of all safety hazards, resulting in 100% safety, with zero lost work time or damaged equipment.

Spearheaded electrical construction of ten-room combined bachelor housing, completing over 78% of required electrical work in six months.

Supported relief effort for Hurricane Katrina by removing over 20 tons of debris, constructing three Sea huts and 75 strong back tents for transition housing camp in Pass Christian, Mississippi.

Planned and estimated project on Special Warfare Center Carderock, estimated at $300,000.  NAVAL MOBILE CONSTRUCTION BATTALION 7, Gulfport, MississippiElectrician, 2000-2005 Responsible for conducting electrical construction projects in support Construction Battalion 7 deployments. Assigned to Facilities Maintenance for three facilities during deployment to Iraq.  

Provided electrical service for the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Task Force Excel, installing over 3,000 feet of electrical cables, ten electrical distribution panels, two laundry units, three power generators, and lighting receptacles, as well as hardening the bunkers in case of chemical attack. Work was valued at over $10,000 and was part of Project Bullrush in Iraq, improving quality of life for over 1,000 personnel assigned to three forward-operating bases.

Installed 20 berthing, galley, and communication tents, three generators ranging from 30-60 kW and all associated electrical distribution equipment in direct support of Construction battalion field training exercise lasting two weeks, resulting in a successful completion of training evolutions.
