Creative Services, Viasat/MTG, London

Key member of a new in-house initiative The Sponsor Hub - a specialist team tasked to devise and implement the adaptation of Viasat’s on-air branding for sponsorship, providing additional commercial opportunities for advertisers and increased Viasat company revenue.

Subsequently nominated for an in-house company business award for innovation.



Designed, developed and oversaw the creative aspects of Viasat’s very first fully automated playout on-screenpresentation and navigation system. Working with external systems providers the project represented a major advance in creative and technical solutions for the Scheduling, Presentation, Creative Services and Transmission departments. The introduction of a flexible and efficient template system drove Viasat’s presentation to new levels of sophistication, improved and built on the profile, quality and engagement of the brand identity across all ofthe company’s broadcast channels.

Project Manager for the technical upgrade of Creative Services, overseeing the purchase, installation and testing of Final Cut Pro editing workstations, Autodesk Flint + Smoke finishing suites and Pro Tools audio facilities. Acting as the single point of contact between the Head of Broadcast Operations, the Engineering Department, Creative Services and external suppliers and contractors. Responsible for managing the multi-million pound project budget, keeping track of all project paperwork, purchase orders and invoices, master budget files, project planner and technical installation trouble-shooting logs and reports.
