US Transport
US Road Network:
Most Source locations require routing through or around major city epicenters
• Challenge is routing minimum of 700 miles to transit over the road to project sites
• Most highway intersections have signage and poles that will affect tail swing of blade tips
Equipment Overview:
• 6 Major Blade Trailer Manufactures Exist (All Blades)1. TrailKing2. Temikso3. K Line4. Goldhofer5. IST6. MSI

• Permits and Police – Major issue with slower turns
• Routing – with overhangs of 30+ feet the tip swing will become the limiting factor on routes, many signs will need to be brought down.
Permits/Routing
• Overhang Issue – with a rear overhang of 30 + feet it will slow down turns and navigation from roads to roads. In addition, to local jurisdictions have many additional requirements (road modifications, local police, etc.)

Rear OverhangCurrent Overview:
• Currently, the largest trailers will stretch to 172feet (52m). Federal law allows up to a 30 feet overhang, total length of the maximum blade that can be hauled on current trailers is roughly 62m to 65m in length depending on tip stand location. This is without Beam Inserts
*Tip Fixture on Rear Pull Out, Not Rear Deck
Carrier Solution - This tip fixture is positioned on
the rear pull out of the trailer. This is only possible
because the rear pull out was modified (with steel
beams) by the Carrier, this location is not designed
by the manufacture to take ANY weight.
Not Recommended by Most Trailer Manufactures
