2013 Provincial Summer Games: Zone 8 Playoff Schedule

We are sad to report that Cecile

Lefebvre passed away recently. She

was an active member of her community

and the Zone 8 executive, serving as

Area 2 Director for many years. She was

our ‘Casino’ expert, making it a painless

experience for all of us! Cecile was al-

ways ready to help a lending hand, and

was awarded the 55Plus Appreciation Award in 2011. She

will be sorely missed by all of us.

The 2013 Alberta 55Plus Summer Games are being held in Bar-

rhead/Westlock this year—not too far away!! Let’s make sure we send a full team

this year. To start that off, make sure you participate in the playoff event of your

choice, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. Don’t forget, the 2014

Canada 55Plus games will be held in Strathcona County—practically next door!!!
