Life Graduate

Excerpt From Beyond The Blue Line Barrier

I Watched Them Squiggle and Squirm

Crawl Then Walk

Coo Then Talk

Run and fall

Learn,

Win

And Lose…

I Felt My Time with Them Would Go On Forever

Then

In A Flash!

They Grew Up To Be a Woman and a Man

As Grown As Me…

And Again,

Today Has Come a Third Time

Just As Unreal As the First

I Watched With Pride

And Then with Sadness

As I Realized

That Our Yesterdays

Will Be Forever Gone…

Now; I See Their Smiles

And Observe Their Struggles

But Am Not Allowed To Touch Their Pain

For They Have Begun a Journey

That I Have Already Completed…

Where They Must Grow

And Reach

And Plan

And Achieve,

That Which Is Set Only Before Them…

A Path That I Can Only Guide With My Words

But Not Allowed

To Block

Or Stop

Or Even Save…

For, I Can Never Walk Their Future For Them Again…

This Is Their Journey

Their Life

And Their Footprints Can Only Contain Their Shoes...

After All …

(To be continued)

Excerpt from After All

After all that we have been through

We continue still to shine

Like a polished piece of silver

Next to an unearthed dime

After all that we have been through

We still stand strong and grand

And the world still pumps our blood

Like the drums beating within a band

After all that we have been through

Who knew we’d come out right

Who knew our lives would prosper

And our songs that filled the night-

… Would sing on for generations ...

Clip on extensions are great for all types of hair, relaxed or

natural, and is a great way to quickly change up your hair style.

Follow the directions below, and you within no time, you will

have your own custom made clip on extensions!

You will need:

•1-2 packs of your preference of hair

that already has a weft. I would rec-

ommend human hair because you

can curl and dye it, but synthetic hair

will work fine as well.

•15-25 Snap Clips (You can get 6 or

9 prongs). This will vary depending

on how many hair pieces you use.

Make sure that you put enough on

each track so that it does not come

loose while wearing them.

•Needle and strong hair thread- Also,

make sure the needle is the correct

size to fit through the holes on your

clips.

Advantages of

making your own

extensions: Custom fit to the size of your

head

Can choose the exact color that

matches your color from your lo-

cal retailer

You also have the flexibility to

choose the type and brand of

clips that you like the best. Some

people prefer certain brands over

another and by making them

yourself, you can use the clips

that you like the best.

Tips

Make sure the texture and color

of the hair for the extensions

matches your natural hair.

If you are using wavy hair, try

sectioning off your hair and

braiding it the night before you

are going to wear the extensions.

This will make your hair wavy in

the morning and will mix a lot

better with your wavy extensions.

How To Make Your Own Clip On Extensions

Instructions

1. Start by getting your needle and thread ready. Thread the needle with your thread, and

then make a knot at the end of the two pieces of string.

2. Cut the track the length that you want it. Most of the time the tracks are thinner than what

is needed, so we are going to cut two of the same length so we can sew them together.

3. Line the two tracks up together

4. Place the first clip on the weft(?) of the tracks at the beginning . Make sure the part of the

clip that snaps out is facing out.

5. Insert your needle through the back of the hair and through the first hole of the clip on the

other side. Repeat this step through the same whole, and then make a knot to hold the

clip securely on.

6. Continue looping the string through the back of the hair, into each of the holes along the

top of the clip.

7. Once you get to the last hole on the clip, loop it around twice, and then make a knot like

you did in step 5.

8. Next, cut the string. Make sure your cut is close to the knot that you have just created.

9. Continue to add the rest of the clips onto the track following the steps above. A good
