Bldg This seminar is designed to provide participants with some basic tips for being safe when at an ATM, walking to or from your car, when threatened by a stranger, or to avoid being a victim in general. Chuck Cory, a personal friend of our pastor, is a certified safety instructor who has provided training to law enforcement professionals, military service professionals, personal bodyguards, and people who just want to be safe. This three-hour seminar is for anyone ages 13+. It takes place in Room 100 of the East Building and is free of charge. ( Amanda Poff, 664.6010, [email protected] First Baptist Nashville Scholarships Due Before April 15 The First Baptist Nashville Scholarship Council is now accepting applications for the Marian Yarbrough Student Scholarship Fund and Cox Memorial Scholarship. Applications for the Marian Yarbrough Scholarship will be considered for full-time students at any post-secondary instituti on. Applications for the Cox Memorial Scholarship are considered for full-time students attending Belmont University only. This is a competitive application process as the Council has the funds to award only a few scholarships. Self Awareness Safety SeminarSaturday, April 13 | 9 a.m. – Noon | Room 100 E. Bldg

This seminar is designed to provide participants with some basic tips for being safe when at an ATM, walking to or from your car, when threatened by a stranger, or to avoid being a victim in general. Chuck Cory, a personal friend of our pastor, is a certified safety instructor who has provided training to law enforcement professionals, military service professionals, personal bodyguards, and people who just want to be safe. First Baptist Nashville ScholarshipsDue Before April 15

The First Baptist Nashville Scholarship Council is now accepting applications for the Marian Yarbrough Student Scholarship Fund and Cox Memorial Scholarship. Applications for the Marian Yarbrough Scholarship will be considered for full-time students at any post-secondary institution. Applications for the Cox Memorial Scholarship are considered for full-time students attending Belmont University only. Through every twist, turn, and dive, Colossal Coaster World’s directors and teachers will get to challenge kids to face their fears and trust God. With excitement around every curve, kids will learn that God has given them a spirit of power, love, and sound judgment. This VBS is going to be the ultimate ride. Leaders, teachers, and volunteers are needed for all ages and stages—from the staff nursery to VBX preteens.

Our special guest will be Tammi Arender. Tammi is a church member and a veteran TV reporter and news anchor. She’s been the evening news anchor in several markets including Nashville and Baton Rouge. Tammi has covered the Country Music Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards for such shows as Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood. She’s an actress who has appeared in several films. For several years Tammi has done freelance reporting for Tennessee Crossroads and she currently is the anchor of the Rural Evening News at RFD-TV.
