way. A smartly planned core curriculum solidifies a business foundation. Then,
starting second semester, high-level electives begin to develop the specialized

“It’s the community that really sets Gabelli apart. The business school environment is usually known to be very harsh and cutthroat. Here, people have a genuine interest in helping each other. There’s an ‘everybody can and will win’ attitude.”

“Our class is comprised of students from backgrounds in military, law, wine & spirits, real estate, advertising, and more. Working alongside people with so many different types of past professional experiences has been one of my favorite parts of the program, and something I believe we’ll all hugely benefit from in the future.”

The Pre-MBA is an exciting opportunity to begin taking
MBA courses before committing to the Professional MBA
degree. If you have never taken a business course or
have less than four years of work experience, the Pre-
MBA program might be right for you. Pre-MBA courses
can be applied to your degree if you choose to apply and
are accepted to the Professional MBA program. Plus,
successful completion of all courses with a grade of “B” or
higher makes you eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver.

We live by a simple philosophy: the work you do out there
depends on the work you do in here. Which is why we’re lean
on entitlement and heavy on hard work. This mentality, and the
tireless career advisors who preach it, produce graduates whom
employers line up to hire.
Our Career Development Center offers impactful, end-to-end
services that range from workshops and personal coaching
to corporate information sessions and site visits. The goal? To
help you translate your Fordham academic experiences into
meaningful professional ones.

We cultivate business leaders who have a desire to influence organizational culture
for the betterment of humanity. Since the launch of our first business master’s degree
programs in 1969, we have remained committed to teaching leadership with purpose.
By conducting business that generates profit while benefiting other people, students
emerge from our programs understanding exactly how to go above and beyond to advance
their own careers, their industry of choice, and society as a whole.
Our new 130,000-square-foot building at the Lincoln Center campus marks a new chapter in student life and education at Fordham. A first for the Gabelli School in Manhattan, this state-of-the-art building includes high-tech,
flexibly designed classrooms, study rooms, conference rooms, an ultramodern trading floor with Bloomberg terminals, a three-story library, and dedicated space for design thinking and social innovation.
