GLIMPSES
1. Turbo chef ‐ Ventless
After a year of rigorous tests, Dominos India has approved Turbochef conveyor ovens for vent less stores which would mostly open at Gas stations, Metro stations, Airport & Petrol Pumps. Dominos should become a huge reference in promoting this oven to every single customer in the country that opens a store at a site like this wherever exhaust & gas is unavailable.

2. Pitco SSH55
Yum! India has approved the Pitco Solstice , Supreme & High Efficiency (SSH55) Fryer. The fryer has High Efficiency Design & Energy Star performance. It comes with the unique self‐cleaning burner system which avoids maintenance, hassle free and recovery issues.
The Fryer has a BTU rating of 80,000/ tank against the 100,000 BTU/tank of the previous model‐SG14TTR. This means that the fryer offers 25% gas savings against the previous model.
3. Houno – Venky Approval
In the year 2012, Venky's used to use rotisseries to roast chicken, a grill/hot plate for their grilled chicken burgers, chicken tenders , Frankie's and a Deep fat fryer for their Fries.
We suggested that just by using a Huono Combi‐oven, we could help them eliminating all the equipment listed above thereby reducing the size of their kitchen.

PES, is a leading manufacturer of equipment for the food processing
industry based in Gainesville, Georgia.
PES product offerings include the IntelliJet and MegaJet line of water
cutting systems, meat presses and fillet systems. PES has annual
revenues of approximately $15 million.
The acquisition of PES highly complements our existing portfolio of
technologies for the food processing industry. The MegaJet and IntelliJet
line of water cutting systems are state of the art, providing a high volume,
accurate and flexible solution to our food processing customers,” said

There are significant sales and manufacturing synergies with this
transaction. Through existing Middleby's global sales and service
infrastructure we will be able to introduce the line of PES products to new
markets.

Middleby Marshall ovens set new guinness
world pizza making record
There was plenty of pizza to go around in Toronto on July 4 after celebrity chef Bob Blumer broke the Guinness World Record for most pizzas made in an hour.
Blumer made 168 cheese and tomato pizzas in 60 minutes, beating the previous record of 142 pies set in 2008. He used Middleby Marshall
WOW! Ovens to set the record
"The WOW! Oven is the only oven in the world that can cook fast enough to keep up that kind ofpace," said Middleby Marshall President Mark Sieron. "We are extremely proud to be a part of Guinness World Record."
The record was set at the Corso Italia festival for an episode of the Food Network show "Glutton for Punishment." Bob stretched, sauced, cheesed and fired a pizza about every 22 seconds and the fastest cooking conveyor oven in the world cooked the pizzas in only 3 minutes.
