Who will be participating in the choral music camp?
The middle school choral music camp is open to any student who has completed 6th, 7th or 8th grade this year (2018-2019) in the Lincoln Public School District.
When and where will the camp be held?
The camp will be held Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 7. Rehearsals will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Irving Middle School in the vocal music room.
Does it cost to participate in the camp?
There is a $25 charge to participate in the camp.
What kind of choral music groups will I be participating in?
There will be large and small ensembles. Everyone will participate in the large ensemble and small ensembles will be created once the camp has begun.
What type of music will I be performing?
The choral music will range from classical pieces to songs from Broadway musicals.

Will there be a final performance?Yes! There will be a final performance Friday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to attend the final performance.
What is the music focus of the camp going to be?
Music for middle school students should be physical, mental and vocal. Participants will add choreography to some songs. Choir members will develop fundamental vocal skills and learn to understand important music theory concepts through small group voice sessions.

CAMP DIRECTOR:Mike Robb teaches general music and choir at Irving Middle School. He has directed this camp for the past thirteen years. Guest clinicians may be present throughout the camp.
