Fence The Contractor continued placing concrete for the fence posts repair areas at Stampede Outlet Structure, and at Prosser Spillway Chute.

Gravel Surfacing The Contractor placed gravel surfacing for the Dam and Dike O&M road. They also hauled and placed Zone 2A material between the moment slabs at the Dike and Dam.

Road Gates Contractor started installing the gates post for the O&M road.

MSE Panels Contractor completed staining the MSE panels at the Dike.

(DPC) performed the following:

• Cathodic protection was installed on upstream side of radial gate. • Installed armor on the upstream side of the gate where wire rope will make contact with

skin plate. • Cored 90 plus holes through rubber seal. • Fit up rubber seal around gate edge. • Fine tune rubber seal to metal gate edge to reduce leakage rate. • Greased all wire rope. • Performed wire rope tension adjustment after measuring tension differential via

measuring device.

• Removed top half and bottom half of bulkhead as well as the components associated with

bulkhead gate from the upstream end of the gate superstructure. • Performed concrete repair. • Clean up, disassemble scaffolding and demobilize.

Subcontractor: ABHE & Svoboda, Inc. (ASI) performed the following:

• Sprayed zinc prime coating on upstream and downstream sides of radial gate. • Applied stripe coats of zinc primer via brush between sprayed coats of zinc primer. • Applied intermediate coats of vinyl paint via spray method. • Applied stripe coats of intermediate vinyl paint between sprayed coats. • Applied top coat of vinyl paint via brush. • Applied top coat of vinyl paint via spray method. • Q.C continuously monitored dry film thickness (DFT) and documented data. • Performed preparation interior of gate #9 cabinet and exterior surfaces of gear box

housings, motor and all linkage between housings and motor. • Applied acrylic paint to gear box housings, motor and linkage on the hoist deck. • Applied acrylic paint to interior of gate 9 cabinet. • The applied a polyurethane sealant to all areas where metal and concrete make contact or

metal to metal contact where water can migrate in spaces on the downstream side of the gate, and where conduit penetrate concrete floor inside the fish building.

• Check DFT and holidays after top was applied. • Q.C. performed wipe testing of adjacent surfaces of painting for lead.

Gathered soil samples for testing.

Sub Contractor: Performance Electric Company (PEC) performed the following:

• Breaker locks were installed in cabinet LFBP & DFBA. • Installed new schedules on interior of panel doors

Blocking Panel Tompco-Triton crew installed the blocking panel in bay #2 after removing the temporary staging area at the sluice way.

Tompco-Triton crew moved the old blocking panels from the staging area and transported them to the CNFH boneyard as requested by CNFH representative. Electrical Power Subcontractor Wagner Electric installed the new bus neutral bar inside the new service disconnect box and new conductors from the meter socket main box and ground. The electrician replaced 400 amp fuses with 225 amp fuses.

The electrician installed labels on the new service disconnect box, meter socket main box, Automatic transfer switch, 200 amp and 400 amp panels. Bullet Resistant Cabinet Tompco-Triton installed a new reinforced concrete pad for the new bullet resistant electrical cabinet for the meter base and disconnect. The cabinet was delivered and installed by Tompco-Triton crew. Demobilization Tompco-Triton crew removed temporary staging and removed all the construction debris and excess excavated material from the site. The crew removed their temporary office, storage box, tools and equipment.

After completion of the coating work and during the reinstallation of the fish screens, isolation kits were utilized to ensure there was no dissimilar metals contact. Each potential contact point was tested for conductivity and corrections in the isolation were made as needed.

SRC completed work under Unilateral Modification 0012 to reconfigure the spring water collection system piping at Eagle Canyon Diversion Dam (ECDD). The piping required relocation due to interference with the juvenile bypass system under flow.

SRC and Subcontractor Tesco Controls began work under Unilateral Modification 0013 providing equipment and personnel support for Reclamation’s facility start-up and low flow hydraulic testing. ECDD will be the first facility tested with NBCFDD following in mid-September 2018.
