    Cuming Microwave Corporation was formed to focus on technology products for

    the RF and the EMC industry. We manufacture absorber materials, we design

    and install anechoic chambers for all RF and EMC applications, and we provide

    a team to offer full turn key solutions.

    In addition, we provide a very broad line of specialty absorber products based

    on magnetic and dielectric lossy materials, and also provide low loss dielectric

    materials, for applications ranging from space to supersonic airborne to

    subsea naval.

    Founded in 1980 by noted, material scientist Dr. William R. Cuming, Cuming

    Microwave Corporation provides innovative materials for the electronics and

    microwave industry. Our microwave material manufacturing facility is located

    in Avon, Massachusetts, USA.

    Cuming Microwave engages in extensive research and development activities to

    provide customers with cost-effective and creative materials for their specific

    applications. Custom engineered products and solutions are our specialty.

    Flat, thin dielectr ic radar absorbers, foam based. Products are eithersingle or mult i - layered foam that are electr ical ly graded or separatedby resist ive f i lms. Excel lent broad-banded and off -angle performance.Some products have Fire Retardant versions avai lable. Products areused for reducing RCS, preventing unwanted ref lect ions and el iminating inter ference.

    Radar absorbing t i les or sheets that are tuned to specif ic frequencies or frequency bands. Materials are avai lable in a select ionof resins: s i l icone, urethane, nitr i le and neoprene. Good for RCSreduct ions, antenna signal shaping, el iminate unwanted RF energy in electronic modules.

    Liquid & SprayableAbsorbers

    Coatings designed for suppression of RF waves and cur rents travel ing along conductive sur faces, and for RCS reduct ion. Products are paint - l ike coatings that can be brushed or sprayed onto sur faces and complex shapes. Some products avai lable as cast ing materials for suppression of energy in electronic units. Products are avai lable in epoxy; s i l icone or urethane based resins. Thickness of material is dependent on frequency of use.

    Honeycomb & High Power Absorbers

    Radar absorbers designed to operate at high temperatures andpower. Power rat ings > 10 Watts/Inch2, with proper venti lat ion canbe handled. Materials are l ightweight and can be used for structuralstrength and incorporated into the load-bearing parts of aircraft,ships and vehicles. Materials can be fabricated with pyramid shapesfor use in anechoic chambers.

    Syntactic Foam

    Lightweight dielectr ic and art i f ic ial dielectr ic materials or lossy materials using microbal lons and resins. Dielectr ic propert ies are control led to t ight tolerances. Appl icat ions include airborne appl icat ions such as antennas; under water appl icat ions and decoys where low weight is a factor.
