Data Protection – Consent Form for Interns

This is to ensure that OMF International (UK) comply with the General Data Protection Regulations with regard to your personal information held by us.

The personal information we hold is for legal compliance and administrative management necessary as a result of you being a member/staff/SAW/ volunteer/intern of OMF International (UK). The only exception to this is where you have consented below to us contacting you about OMF events or publications which we think may be of interest to you. Where data is required for necessary legal/administrative purposes and you object to providing it, we may need to terminate your engagement with OMF International (UK).

The personal information we hold may be held on secure OMF International servers used by us in Asia and other parts of the world. Full details of the safeguards in place are available through any of the contact addresses below.

The personal information we hold will be deleted within 6 years of you finishing your role with OMF International (UK)/will be retained indefinitely in case of future need of it relating to your service as a member of OMF International (UK). If your application to join OMF as a member/staff/volunteer/SAW does not get approved, the personal information we hold about you will be deleted within 1 year. Where you have another form of engagement with OMF besides that of a staff/SAW/volunteer/intern, your personal information will be retained for that purpose until it is no longer required and then it will be deleted

You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner if you believe that we are holding/using your personal information contrary to the General Data Protection Regulations.

In addition to the rights already detailed, you also have the right to request us to provide you with a detail of the personal information we are holding about you on our systems. This, or any further information you require from OMF regarding our data protection policies, should be requested from the contact person below.

I understand that the personal information held by OMF is for OMF purposes only and will not be disclosed to a third party outside of OMF without my consent.
