Numbering Format Times New Roman, 12 points

Numbering Position 1.25 cm above from bottom of page, should be aligned in the middle.

Page Numbering Small Roman numbers (i, ii, iii, iv…etc.) are used from SUMMARY page to last page of LIST OF TABLES.

Numbering starts from Bookplate. Bookplate and Statement page are counted but not numbered.

Arabic numbers (1, 2, 3,… etc.) are used from first section of THESIS TEXT to AUTOBIOGRAPHY. First section is numbered starting from 1 and each section is numbered starting from pages with odd numbers.

Figures and Tables

Numbering Figures and Tables are numbered like Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, and Table 1, Table 2, Table 3, ... from the beginning.

Descriptive Entries Should be placed below the figures/above the tables. If it consists of more than one line, the line spacing is 1. Only the first letter is uppercase and the end of the sentence ends with a period (.).

All Tables and Figures are referred in the nearest place in thesis text.

Formulas

Numbering All formulas or equations in the text are numbered like (1), (2), (3), .... from the beginning. Formula numbers should be aligned right and written in parentheses like (1), (2) etc..

Location Formulas are indented 1 cm from beginning of line.

Summary Summary can not exceed 250 words.Keywords 2 keywords at least.

References

Writing The surname is written first and then the first letter of the name is given.

If possible, short names of journals or periodicals are used. Name of journals or books are written in italics.

Surname, First letter of name., (YEAR), Title of the study, Name of Journal, Volume, No, Page range.

Examples;Yuksel I., (YEAR), Name of the book, Publisher, City, Page range.

Akbas S., Bayhan B . and Yuksel I., (YEAR), Title of the study, Name of Journal, Volume, No, Page range.

Reference in Text Author’s surname and publication year are given (Surname YEAR).

Publications of the same author are ordered according to their publication years from old to new one (Surname YEAR, YEAR).

In publications with two authors, “and” conjunction is used between authors' surnames (for Turkish publications use “ve” conjunction).

When referring to publications with more than two authors, first author's surname is followed by “et al.” (for Turkish publications use “vd.” instead). (Surname vd./et al. YEAR).

If more than one reference is to be given, put a semicolon (;) between them (Kartal 2010; Ulubeyli 2011; Capar 2014).

Source to be given directly in text is written like "In the study of Surname (2014), ... ".
