Time, Expense and Approvals are just the beginning… Microsoft Dynamics SL is initially releasing a series of Microsoft Dynamics SL Project Web Apps. The first

releases are focused on Project time entry, expense entry, associated approvals and project analysis information.

This will be followed by additional project approval, review and setup features. These new Web Apps are built to

work on smartphones and tablets as well as desktops.

Track project labor and expenses effectively By using the new Web Apps, employees can record time and travel related expenses virtually anytime, anywhere.

Managers can view and track labor and other expenses through the project analyst with a fully integrated

solution that allows you to include labor costs in project profitability calculations.

Provide operational efficiency Streamline the collection of labor and project expenses with timecards and expense reports that can be entered

remotely via smartphone, tablet or desktop, fully validated, and available for online project manager approval.

Connect to payroll Project timecards can automatically integrate to payroll with Microsoft Dynamics SL financial management

modules.

Dynamics SL Web Apps.

Microsoft Dynamics SL is initially taking the top features needed by project managers and employees and

putting them where you can use them, in the palm of your hands. The focus is to make tasks, like entering

your time or expenses just as accessible as using your phone or tablet.

Microsoft Dynamics SL is delivering these features through an HTML5 solution that is accessible via the web

and will support web browsers on the following platforms and tablets.¹

Benefits Intuitive User Interface Empower employees with timecards and expense reports that are intuitive and easy-to-use. All this directly

from their smartphone, tablet or desktop web browser¹. User interfaces are built to scale to the size of

device being used.

Online Timecard Reporting Enable employees to record their time on a daily basis using electronic timecards. Labor information flows

directly from employees to the project and accounting tools, and is fully validated at the time of entry to

prevent time entry errors such as charges to closed projects or tasks.

Online Expense Reporting and Validation Help ensure that travel and other employee-related project expenses are properly recorded through the convenience of real-time data entry. Online travel and expense collection minimizes paperwork, shortens the approval process, and provides managers with a clear view of expenses. Expense entry supports the attachment of files, so receipts captured on a smartphone or tablet can be attached at point of entry.

Online Timecard and Expense Review Automatically route online timecards and expense reports to managers. Once approved, timecards and

expense entries update projects, general ledger, and other integrated Microsoft Dynamics SL modules.

Flexible Labor Classifications Accommodate government, construction, and other complex project and billing requirements with

flexible labor costing methods and labor classifications. Labor can also be costed and manually

adjusted at the point of entry.

Complete Integration Save time and help ensure that your data is accurate by sharing information across Microsoft Dynamics SL

modules, including payroll, distribution, and field service management, to provide a single-point of data

entry.

Timecard/Expense Report Auditing Capture and store a complete audit trail of all changes to timecards and expense reports, including change

reasons.

Multi-currency Expense Gain more control of your projects with the ability to schedule billings and to report expenses in multiple currencies.

Just the beginning Microsoft Dynamics SL Web Apps project features are just the beginning. The initial focus is to provide project managers and project employee’s remote access to the features they need. Microsoft Dynamics SL will continue to expand web app development across the product.
