Microsoft Azure for Non-profits (Sponsorship)

Getting Started In order for Charities to obtain Microsoft Azure for Non-profits they need to go on to this link

Then Click on on the top right corner. Select your country

Read through the information and click on Continue.

Confirm with Microsoft that your organisation does not have any discriminating policy by clicking on Continue.

Fill in your organisation details and click Next.

Fill in your organisation address and click Next.

Fill in the details about how your charity organisation is registered with your country. Then click on “Add registration information” and then Next.

Create your Microsoft account Fill in your details to create a Microsoft/Sponsorship account.

Create your Azure Account Fill in the details to create your Microsoft Azure account.

Confirming your contact number, either by mobile phone or land line etc.

If you choose “Text me”, you will receive a text message on your mobile phone, otherwise “call me”, you will receive a voice message enter the code to confirm that you are not a robot. Click “Next” to confirm.

Once you have been verified, save your details, click on “Continue to the Nonprofit Portal”.

Your application will be sent to TechSoup for validation, in this case Tech Trust as we are the UK partner that validates Microsoft Eligibility.

You will be receiving the below email to confirm of your application.

Once your Microsoft Sponsorship application is eligible for your charity organisation, you will receive the below email.

Microsoft Sponsorship Subscription To check your Microsoft Sponsorship subscription on your Azure, you will need to login to your Microsoft Azure tenant https://portal.azure.com/ On the left pane, if subscription is not listed, click on more services.

In the Search text box, type in subscription and click on the Star next to it to set as favourite.

Click on the word subscription in the search result.

Now that your Microsoft Azure Subscription is available to your Azure tenant, you can now create services on Azure and make sure you select Microsoft Azure subscription and not Pay-As-You-Go.
