Our Journey

Micropigmentation UK Conference and Awards was

launched in 2016 to bring together a fragmented

industry that was still in its nascent stage of growth.

Over the years, we have witnessed tremendous

transformations in this industry, stimulated in part by

the strong relationships forged by the participants

at our event. With the event attracting increasing

numbers of micropigmentation industry participants

from across the globe, the potential for cooperative

growth is limitless.

Not surprisingly, MPUK Conference and Awards has

grown in both size and scope with each successive

year. 2019 will witness our biggest event yet and in

response to demand, for the first time will be held

across two full days. We invite you to be a part of the

future today and celebrate this spectacular

journey together.

An emerging star, who has made significant impact in the UK micropigmentation industry over the past year.

Eyebrow Artist of the Year (Under 2 Years) Machine MethodThe winning professional is an eyebrow technician with less than two years post-qualified experience and who consistently delivers exceptional results using a standard Micropigmentation machine.

Eyebrow Artist of the Year (Over 2 Years) Machine MethodThe winning professional is an eyebrow technician with more than two years post-qualified experience and who consistently delivers exceptional results using a standard Micropigmentation machine.

Permanent Make-Up Artist of the Year (Under 2 Years) The winning professional is an exceptionally gifted Permanent Makeup Artist of less than two years post-qualified experience, whose technical knowledge and expertise cover a range of procedures, including; eyebrows, lips and eyeliner. An emerging star, who has made significant impact in the UK micropigmentation industry over the past year.

Scalp Technician of the YearThis award will go to the Scalp Technician considered to be delivering scalp treatments of the highest standard and demonstrates excellence in the area of scalp micropigmentation, while contributing to the raising of standards within the industry. This person is multi-disciplined in carrying out a variety of technical procedures, including scalp.

Medical Technician of the Year This award will go to the medical technician who in the considered to be the stand out performer of Medical Micropigmentation treatment over the past year. The person who is multi- disciplined in carrying out a variety of technical procedures, including areola, scar and camouflage.

Medical Areola Technician of the YearThis award will go to the medical areola technician who in the judge’s opinion has been the stand out performer in Medical Areola Micropigmentation treatment over the past year. The person is a specialist in areola procedures and is consistently delivering outstanding results.

Microblading (Under 2 years)This award will be presented to the stand out performer in microblading over the past year. The person will be less than two years post-qualified experience and able to carry out a variety of technical procedures, including eyebrows using a microblading tool.

Microblading (Over 2 years)This award will be presented to the stand out performer in microblading over the past year. The person will be more than two years post-qualified experience and able to carry out a variety of technical procedures, including eyebrows using a microblading tool.

Lifetime Achievement AwardThis award will be presented to someone who has shown dedication, perseverance and leadership throughout their career and has made a significant contribution to growth and development of the UK Micropigmentation industry over many years.

Micropigmentaton UK Awards 2019On the night, awards will be presented in each of the following categories to micropigmentation professionals

who have displayed exceptional professionalism, proved technical proficiency and redefined excellence in their

respective fields.

Innovation Award This award will be presented for innovation, in the form of new technology, system, product or widely available

service, which in the judge’s opinion has led to the most significant advancement or improvement within the UK

Micropigmentation industry during the past year.

Best Pigment Range AwardThis award will be given to the pigment range considered to deliver all round best value and performance.

Best Customer ServiceThis award will be given to the company who in the judge’s opinion delivers the best customers

service experience.

Best Use of Social Media AwardThis award will be awarded to the company that in the judge’s opinion demonstrate effective use of social media

in marketing their business services.

Best Website AwardThis award will be awarded to the company whose website, in the judge’s opinion has the best overall package and

is proving an effective tool in marketing the business and its services.

Best Make up Machine (Under £1500)This award will be given to the machine that in the judge’s opinion has the strongest overall function. A machine

that produces the highest possible results, safe and hygienic. Must include a good range of sterile safety needles

that prevent cross-contamination.
