Virkon® S, the premier broad spectrum virucidal veterinary disinfectant, is recognised by industry and governments worldwide as a disinfectant of choice for livestock disease prevention and control.

Virkon® S has a unique formulation; no other disinfectant has the same powerful composition. In terms of efficacy Virkon® S has been proven highly effective against 65 strains of virus in over 19 viral families, 400 strains of bacteria and over 100 strains of fungi. This list of proven efficacy includes the major OIE List A diseases of concern; Avian Influenza (H5N1), Newcastle Disease, Classical Swine Fever (Hog Cholera) and Foot and Mouth Disease.

Removable Antimicrobial Coating RAC™:

DuPont developed the Removable Antimicrobial Coating (RAC) technology to provide innovative ways to help prevent the spread of bacteria. The control of mold and pathogenic bacteria, especially Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes, is a significant challenge for the food processing industry.

This product is a water-based liquid formulation with film-forming characteristics and residual antimicrobial properties that can be completely removed with a water rinse. It provides long-lasting antimicrobial treatment for coated surfaces and equipment. Ideal for coating hard-to-reach surfaces, DuPont™ RAC can be easily applied by spraying, dipping or painting.

Advantages include:

• Can be easily washed off using only water• Effective against a wide range of bacteria and fungi, preventing the formation of

microbial contamination over extended periods of time• Enables more efficient use of antimicrobials, decreased water usage and reduced
