General The 2 Pole AC Breaker Kit is intended for installing an internal AC breaker into the MicroPower Outdoor Cabinet. Installation must be done by authorized personnel only. Eltek Energy recommends that the system is powered down before installation of the kit.
Recommended tools Standard equipment used by an authorized electrician. NOTE: All tools must be insulated.
Torque settings All terminals on the AC breaker (CBI) must be tightened with 3.0Nm.

Installation Step Description Comment OK 1 The mains input
must be turned off during the installation. It is possible to mount this kit without removing the battery shelf. However Eltek recommend removing the batteries and battery shelf before installing the AC breaker kit.
Turn off the external mains input breaker!
2 NOTE! If the OVP Kit is installed always mount this kit beside the mains input terminal blocks. Move the OVP kit to the right hand side. The drawing to the right shows how to install both kits.

3 Remove the End Stop on the right hand side of the mains input terminal blocks. Mount the double pole breaker on the DIN bar. Push the AC breaker against the terminal blocks. Lock the AC breaker with the End Stop.

4 Connect the mains input earth cable at the green/yellow terminal block. Connect the mains input cables L and N at the bottom of the AC breaker. The kited cables must be connected from the top of the AC breaker to the terminal blocks for Live (brown) and Neutral (blue). Torque: 3Nm. Fix the cables with straps.

5 The internal AC breaker has now been installed. Remount the battery shelf and the batteries if they have been removed. The internal AC breaker must be turned on. Turn on the external AC breaker to start up the system.
