Nomination and Application Deadlines:The nomination coordinator must submit the completed

nomination form and five letters of support by

Friday February 24th, 2017. The nominee must submit the

teaching package including an abbreviated CV, a teaching

dossier, and any other related documentation by

Friday, March 31st, 2017. Both documents must be

submitted to the address shown below:

Do you know an outstanding individual who has gone above

and beyond in the pursuit of excellence, innovation and

leadership in teaching at the Marine Institute? If so, help

recognize this person’s efforts by submitting a nomination

by February 24th, 2017!

This award is offered on an annual basis and is meant to

acknowledge excellence primarily attained over

a minimum of five calendar years prior to

the awarding of this distinction.

The award is open to faculty

and demonstrators who have

not previously received the

Marine Institute

Teaching Award.

Nomination Coordinator:

As the nomination coordinator for the nominating group I wish

to nominate for this

year’s Marine Institute Teaching Award. I understand that the

nominee is a full-time employee involved with teaching at the

Marine Institute. I understand that no more than FIVE letters

of support must be submitted in support of this nomination by

THREE past or present students of the nominee (with contact

information and signatures) and TWO other faculty members

by February 24th, 2017. Note: self-nominations are not

accepted.
