Step 1 = Determine subject of the sentence. Gabriela = she (ella)
Step 2 = Take off –ar/-er/-ir. hablar – ar = habl
Step 3 = Add ending. habl + a = HABLA
Answer: Gabriela HABLA con su amiga.

“GO” VERBS
• The “go” verbs are: hacer, poner, salir, tener and traer.
• They are called go verbs because the yo form ends in “go”—hago, pongo, salgo, tengo, traigo.
• All other forms are regular—just take off the ar/er/ir and add the appropriate endings.
*tener is also a stem-changing verb
