BRIDES ATTIRE

Traditionally, the gown is made of white silk, with crocheted lace, which is sign of the Spanish influence. As most traditional Mexican weddings are with a Catholic Mass, gowns are not usually strapless, very modest. A veil is a must have, but its not just any veil of choice it must be Spanish lace, and worn during the ceremony it covers the bride's hair and comes to a point on her forehead.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT?

In the U.S you’re not really pressured to do it any other way but your own, while Mexican weddings are strict and wrapped around tradition and culture and religion. While we do carry some traditions in the U.S still today it really is up to the persons taste on how they want their special day to be like
