Mission Statement: METU GÜNAM is currently establishing Turkey’s first Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) Research Laboratory “ODAK.” ODAK’s mission includes leading SHIP R&I efforts domestically, integrating and aligning Turkish SHIP activities with EU activities, and more broadly serving as Turkey’s scientific node for the distributed CST Research Infrastructure EU-SOLARIS. Our SHIP Research Objectives are to advance the state-of-the-art in high temperature solid particle systems and low temperature drying process through TRL 3-5 activities, and to collaborate with Ministries, NGOs, Industry, and INSHIP partners to grow Turkish and EU SHIP industries and markets.
