SPRAYED-IN-PLACE PIPE (SIPP) LININGMichels uses epoxy and polymer systems to prevent breaks, restore integrity and create fully structural pipes within host pipes. SIPP is effective for the trenchless rehabilitation of large-diameter storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, manholes and other infrastructure of all shapes, bends, curves and angles.

CURED-IN-PLACE PIPE (CIPP) LININGMichels trenchlessly installs jointless lining systems from manhole to manhole to add 50 years of design life to pipes spanning from 6 to 100 inches in diameter. Suitable for sewer mains, water mains and pressure pipes, liners are installed by air or water inversion, and cured with steam, water or UV light.

CULVERTSMichels installs and cures thermoset resin-soaked liners in culverts as quickly and conveniently as possible, often in less than a day. Our crews stage equipment and perform work in small spaces, resulting in minimal or no traffic disruptions.

TEMPORARY CONVEYANCEMichels uses experience and specialized equipment to install and operate temporary conveyance (bypass pumping) systems capable of reliably routing storm, sanitary sewer and potable water around sections of pipe under construction.

CLEANING & CCTV SERVICESMichels uses high-pressure water jets to remove accumulated sediment, trash and debris from sewers and basins. Our 1,500-gallon wastewater-recycling trucks eliminate time-consuming refills and reduce water discharge into sewer systems. Michels also provides closed circuit TV (CCTV) inspection services for sewer, water and culvert lines, including sewer laterals.

INFLOW AND INFILTRATION (I/I)Michels’ certified experts use a holistic approach to eliminating I/I at all points of possible entry: manholes, mainlines, laterals and lateral connections. A combination of chemical grout, and CIPP and manhole lining systems eliminate water migration and ultimately save money.

Michels uses Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) and Sprayed-in-Place Pipe (SIPP) lining systems on maintenance and emergency projects for sewer mains, water mains, pressure pipes, culverts and manholes. Each liner is designed to the exact specifications of the owner, is installed by trained technicians and follows ASTM 1216 or 1743 guidelines for installation and curing.

With more than 5.6 million feet of liner experience for municipal and industrial customers, Michels provides complete, reliable services to extend the pipes’ lives by decades. Our network of regional wetout facilities allows us to serve customers throughout North America.
