DEFINITION OF INSOLUBLE SALTS
Insoluble salt is salt that not dissolves in water at temperature.
A Precipitate is an insoluble solid that forms when 2 or more soluble reactants are combined.

Mix the two solutions –a precipitate will form. Filter the mixture. Rinse the solid with distilled water and allow to dry.
