the country from 1913-1921, Wilson advocated engagement with other nations in search of peace, expansion of opportunities for all Americans, commitment to democratic principles, and protection of America’s people and institutions. The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum strives to sustain these principles through educational ventures and access to history through Wilson-related papers. The Presidential Library is the place where people can come to understand how Wilson changed our world and how his ideals are relevant today through tours of his birthplace, a museum, and educational programs.
