RHSCP special cable glands are extremelyrobust and have proved themselves inthousands of applications . The Viton sleeve isextraordinarily resistant to oils , solvents andchemicals at high temperatures . Our speciallydeveloped Viton formulation with increased acidresistance is therefore particularly suitable foruse in machine and turbine construction and innuclear power stations . Even in the long ,temperatures up to +165 have no ageing effecton the mechanical properties . These glandsalso provide sealing and bending protection ,together with a high protection class . The strainrelief is provided by the solid brass clampingshackle . The cable gland is resistant tocorrosion and to seawater .

Assembly instructions :Remove the braiding . Slide the compressionscrew over the cable end , bend the braiding atright angles upwards by about 4 to 6 mm andcut off all round . Place the two-part-conicaldamping ring around the braiding and hold itagainst the braiding with the compressionscrew .Working from the cable end , push thewasher , the neoprene recessed sealing ringand the lower part against the conical ring andcompression screw and screw them firmlytogether .

Brass cable glands

This product features a low profile, allowingits use in confined spaces . It accepts two orthree cables , while still remain impermeableto water and oil . The cables would then belead through a single opening . It providesvery secure protection even with its lowprofile design and in confined spaces . Itcan be combined with many special glands ,and the protection class would depend onthe gland it is being used in conjunctionwith . However , the standard design is atleast IP 55 .
