SBP (S. B. Packagings Ltd.) was promoted by a group of professionals withPrivate Equity participation from the Reputed Investors. The Plant is strategicallylocated on a National Highway on the outskirts of Delhi. SBP started commercialproduction in 1989 and soon became a STAR SUPPLIER to HindustanUnilever Ltd. In year 2002 a Food and Hygiene Division was added. The latest technologyof Flexo-printing and Solvent-less lamination was adopted. This was thepreferred process to print Polyethylene and manufacture packaging worldwide.After adding this process, SBP reaffirmed its market leadership in PrintedPolybags in the country. It became the one stop shop, producing polybags &laminates printed in both gravure & flexo, solvent less lamination, extrusioncoating, hot melt coating, variety of poly bags, pouches, etc. SBP has developed special products considering the market changes and theneeds of its customers, especially Proctor & Gamble (Hygiene Division), ModernRetail and Tissues and become the preferred supplier to P&G, Unilever,Baxter, Becton Dickinson, Walmart, Future Group, etc. SBP has the best product range and capabilities in Printed Polybagsegment in India. It is the Pioneer and the most experienced in Flexo printingand the market leader in India for Hygiene Packaging which includes SanitaryNapkins, Diapers and Tissues (Rolls, Dry & Wet Tissues)with customers like BILT,Pudumjee, SR Foils and Tissues, Origami, Premier, etc. SBP evolved a new business model for the emerging business of Modern Retailand soon became the leading player in the Modern Retail partnering Walmart,Big Bazaar, Spencers, Reliance Retail, Vishal and now Carrefour in their Privatelabel business.
