Keep the post cards coming anyti e you travel around, especially during the summer! On Thursday morning this week, we will be having a re drill. Fire drills might seem silly, or even scary, to some students but they are so extremely important. As we wind up April and head into May, we increasingly turn our atten n to the California State testi g that will be happening in grades three through eight, not just at Mesa School, but at all public schools statewide. In the coming issues of Mesa Matt rs, I will be talking more about state testin and highlight our testi g calendar, so you can plan accordingly, and not schedule orthodonti t (and other doctors) appointments during the testi g. It is very important that all students take the test when given and under the same circumstances as all the other students taking the test. Don’t forget that this Wednesday is a minimum day dismissal for all students in all grades, so that the teachers can have a training on the textbook adopti n (new English language arts textbooks for the 2017- 2018 school year).
