For the teacher:

As the story begins, Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria attempt to escape Madagascar and return to New York

using a hot air balloon they built. Alex shoots down red night goblin that visits Madagascar every year at this

time, the 24th of Julianuary, and shoots coal at lemurs. But the four friends discover that the red night goblin

was, in fact, Santa Claus, it becomes very clear that Santa was throwing coal at Julien for obviously being naughty.

Unfortunately, the group realizes the crash has left Santa with amnesia, unaware of his responsibilities. Alex,

Marty, Melman, and Gloria huddle together and come up with a decisionPlay time: 5:43 - 20:09Who said:

Here's the plan: We find the sleigh, help Santa deliver the toys. Then, on the way home, he drops us off in New

York! Alex

Back away! Penguin

It's a cold war that dates back centuries. Penguin

They bribed him with candy canes and cheap elf labor. Penguin

That's the sweetest thing any penguin has ever said to me. Reindeer

Can you give us a ride? Alex

Why don't you ask your South Pole comrades to help? Reindeer

The only thing magical about those North Polers is that tank full of sparkly stuff. Penguin

Fat man, behold the beauty of a traditional Julianuary carol honoring... me. Julien

You made this mess. Now, we gotta clean it up. Yo, Skipper! Sparkle time! Marty

Tighten your harnesses and think happy thoughts. Penguin

And everyone wept tears of joy for the miracle that was Baby Julien. Julien

What's so special about Julianuary if everyone gets to have something? Julien

Calm down. It's a small town, there's only a couple more houses. Let's not freak out. Marty

Don't tell Santa I was up. Really. I think I broke my collarbone. Girl

And it's still gonna be here when we're done! Marty

Haven't you heard of knocking? I could have been naked in here. Julien

I have all the presents. Why do I feel so empty inside? Julien

Hey! Why don't you give one to your girlfriend Amelia over there. I bet she'd like it. Santa

Look at the smile on Amelia. Making her feel good makes me feel good.

I can't take it. I'll throw it in the river. It'll be like we never saw them. Alex

The good news is there's enough sparkly stuff to get us back to Madagascar. PenguinThe South Polers stole sleigh for joyride! Riendeer
