time together around the table

AMONG FRIENDS with Robert We had another wonderful all church retreat at the beautiful New Life Ranch

last weekend. It was such a great time to get to know our brothers and sisters in

Christ better. I love how the retreat is intergenerational so all ages can learn and

grow in community together. Our bonds are strengthened adding to our continued

commitment living and working together in Christianity community. We were es-

pecially blessed to have David and July Lopez join us on the retreat. They are one

of our missionaries we support in Bogota, Colombia. David also spoke and gave a

report on the work during Bible class last Sunday morning as well as preached an

encouraging sermon during worship.

Our annual Fall Festival is next Sunday afternoon (Oct. 29) from 5:30 p.m. to 7

p.m. here at the building. We’ll have a Mini Trunk or Treat in the parking lot, a

light meal in the Activity Center with carnival games and lots of candy! This is a

non-scary fun event for everyone, and we encourage you to invite your friends and

family to this event and we look forward to meeting many visitors from the com-

munity. If you would like to help volunteer on the day of the festival, please sign

up on the sheet in the foyer. We also need candy donations in the baskets around

the church building and money donations should be given to Misti Babitzke.

--Your friend,

Robert
