Modern Operating Theatre of todayToday’s operating theatre faces challenges in offering cost-efficient solutions taking into consideration all data

management and quality control demands of today. Operating tables and lights need to provide information to

OR-management softwares that again helps in planning quality control and patient information systems.

Merivaara has widened the range for operating theatre tables by developing the PromeriX heavy duty operating

table to meet the growing demands of modern operating theatres. Starting with open interfaces for OR-

management softwares and ways to communicate also through voice control systems this heavy weight still

mobile sliding table forms the basis for a successful and clean operation.

Besides the PromeriX Merivaara also produces basic reliable hydraulic and cost-efficient electro-mechanical as

well as day surgery tables to cover the whole range of tables needed in the hospital.

PromeriX is an easy-to-use mobile operating table, whose modular table top can be configurated to suit each

surgical procedure and patient in the best possible way. PromeriX’s electro-hydraulic adjustments are controlled

via user friendly hand- or foot control units or the new wireless IR remote control unit. The operating table is

ergonomic, easy to use and to maintain.

PromeriX has a special set-up for shoulder arthroscopy procedures. The detachable back rest, belt system and

steady head support make the use of the table practical and safe.

Optional 80 mm mattress The memory foam mattress is made of combination of normal

- and visco-elastic (memory) foam to guarantee maximum

patient safety and comfort. The memory foam mattress forms

according to the body temperature and patient. The antistatic

polyester-polyurethane upholstery with Sanitized®-treatment

is resistant against bacteria and fungus (Staphylococcus

Aureus + MRSA, Penicillium funicolusum). The upholstery

is breathable, washable, bi-elastic and has welded seams.

This special mattress prevents pressure sores and numbing.

The maximum pressure will be reduced - �� … - �� %, the

mean pressure - �0 … - �0 % and mattress area supporting

the patient will be increased by +�� …+ �0 % depending on

patients weight and body shape.
